Debbie Deans is a CPA with over 20 years of accounting experience and some software consulting experience as well. She has performed accounting functions for both large and small companies. Most recently she has performed the role of the assistant controller for clients in the construction industry.
Debbie’s clients rely on her to take charge of most of the day to day accounting functions for their business such as accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll taxes as well as the monthly functions of month end close and assisting in financial statement preparation. She takes on other accounting functions as needed because of their confidence in her. This helps her clients so they can concentrate on managing their business.
Most recently Debbie was an integral part in one client’s accounting system conversion. After the client received training from the software consultant, Debbie was the go-to person for guidance in additional training and questions for the client and other staff. This saved the client time and money from having to go back to the software consultant. Later on, the client added an additional module to the software to automate more processes. The client was confidence that Debbie would be the main liaison between the software company and the staff.
Debbie earned her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Delaware and became a Certified Public Accountant shortly after.
