Norma Meyer is an experienced financial professional with over 30 years of experience. She earned her CPA while in Big 4 public accounting soon after earning her MBA in Accounting from New York University’s Stern School of Business. Moving on from public accounting she developed accounting policies and procedures at a major banking institution. She spent a major part of her career at The New York Times in various financial positions throughout the company. She provides support to senior management, so they can effectively manage their business and maximize their potential. She uses her analytical and technical skills to dig into projects and produce professional results to help business leaders succeed.
Norma’s collaborative approach means that she has the ability to deal with all levels of a company, bringing together information from a variety of sources and producing coherent results. She can implement plans at all levels, from planning to executing engagements.
Norma is experienced in various financial systems including QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, SAP, and Essbase.
She is also an expert user of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. She is adept at learning new
systems and using them to creatively to provide solutions to new opportunities as they arise to help
management make the most of their assets.
