What We Do

Fractional CFO and Controller Services in New York

CFO Strategies works with general contractors, subcontractors, builders, and HVAC and roofing companies in New York City, Westchester and Long Island. A fractional CFO in New York gives you a part-time CFO and controller team that knows construction, instead of a full-time hire. • Job costing on every job
  • A WIP schedule with over and under billing
  • A 13-week cash flow forecast
  • Financial statements your bank and surety can rely on
  • A monthly meeting to walk you through the numbers

When you need it

  • An annual budget and business plan

Why Us

Built on New York Construction

Before founding CFO Strategies, Alan G. Lefkowitz, CPA, was CFO of a heavy construction company working on site, excavation, superstructure and drywall projects. He oversaw the financial performance of major New York projects, including the Yankee Stadium and the Goldman Sachs office tower.
Today most of our construction clients do $20 million to $40 million a year, and several carry more than $100 million in backlog. We’ve worked with builders on the commercial side, including high-rise condominiums, and with heavy civil contractors on excavation, foundations and superstructure.
